Montra Electric Expands Its Delhi-NCR Network with New Electric Commercial Vehicle Dealerships
Jan 12, 2026
Montra Electric, the clean mobility division of the Murugappa Group, has strengthened its presence in the Delhi-NCR region with the inauguration of two new dealerships—an electric small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) outlet in Libaspur, North Delhi, and an electric three-wheeler (e-3W) dealership in Surajpur, Greater Noida.
The Greater Noida e-3W dealership, operated by Vigsons Automobiles, will focus on last-mile passenger and cargo transportation, catering to both individual owner-operators and fleet customers. The outlet will offer Montra Electric’s Super Auto and Super Cargo models and is equipped with dedicated service facilities and trained EV technicians to deliver faster service turnaround and improved vehicle uptime, key requirements for high-utilisation commercial vehicles.
Meanwhile, the North Delhi e-SCV dealership, managed by Action Volt Wheels, part of the Action Earth Movers Group, is aimed at supporting businesses using electric SCVs for mid-mile and intra-city logistics. The facility is designed to serve use cases such as e-commerce distribution, FMCG logistics, and urban freight, with after-sales and workshop capabilities aligned to fleet operations and reliability standards.
The dealership launches were attended by senior leadership from TI Clean Mobility, including Arun Murugappan, Chairman; Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director; Saju Nair, CEO – e-SCV; and Deependra Sharma, CEO – e-3W, Montra Electric, underscoring the strategic importance of NCR in the company’s national expansion roadmap.
Commenting on the development, Arun Murugappan said the shift toward electric commercial mobility represents a structural transformation rather than a mere product transition. He emphasised that sustainable scaling of clean mobility will rely on building a robust ecosystem centred on product quality, dependable service, and long-term ownership assurance.
Jalaj Gupta highlighted Delhi-NCR’s critical role in the adoption of electric commercial vehicles, noting that growth in the region is increasingly driven by practical, real-world business applications. He added that Montra Electric is focused on creating a strong and reliable retail and service network that supports scale and positions electric mobility as a credible business proposition.
With these latest additions, Montra Electric has deepened its footprint in NCR, a region rapidly emerging as one of India’s most active hubs for electric commercial vehicle adoption, driven by urban logistics, shared mobility, and expanding EV fleet operations as the sector transitions from pilot projects to mainstream commercial deployment.
