Montra Electric Expands Northeast Presence with New e-3W Dealership in Silchar

Montra Electric has strengthened its footprint in Northeast India with the launch of a new electric three-wheeler (e-3W) dealership in Silchar, Assam, established in partnership with Sunbird Super Energy. Located on Sonai Road, the outlet offers Montra Electric’s SUPER AUTO (Passenger) and SUPER CARGO (Load Carrier) models—designed for strong range, reliable performance, and lower operating costs for drivers, fleet operators, and last-mile mobility providers.
The dealership is supported by a fully equipped service bay, trained technicians, and readily available spare parts to ensure quick and dependable after-sales service for customers.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by notable leaders from Assam, including Khalin Uddin Mazumdar, MLA (Katigorah) and Karim Uddin Barbhaya, MLA (Sonai).
Speaking at the launch, Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director of TI Clean Mobility, Montra Electric, said:

This marks Montra Electric’s 12th e-3W dealership in Assam. The showroom spans 1,200 sq ft, accompanied by a 900 sq ft workshop.

Assam is rapidly emerging as India’s frontrunner in EV adoption, with over 85% of new three-wheelers already electric—a trend that positions the state to potentially become the first in the country to reach 100% electric three-wheeler penetration.
