Neuron Energy, Rilox EV Surpass 10,000 Lithium-Ion Battery Installations in Commercial EV Fleet

Battery technology firm Neuron Energy has announced that its collaboration with commercial EV manufacturer Rilox EV has crossed a major milestone — more than 10,000 lithium-ion battery systems deployed across commercial electric vehicles operating in India’s high-demand mobility segments.

The achievement underscores the durability, lifecycle performance, and operational stability of Neuron’s battery solutions in real-world fleet environments, where uptime and efficiency are critical to profitability.

Rilox EV has emerged as a focused original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the commercial mobility space, with over 10,000 electric vehicles currently on Indian roads. The company supports its growing footprint through a nationwide dealer network of more than 75 partners. Its electric two-wheeler and three-wheeler platforms cater to logistics operators, gig workers, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), functioning across varied and often challenging terrains where reliability directly influences revenue generation.

Commenting on the milestone, Pratik Kamdar, CEO and Co-Founder of Neuron Energy, said the scale of deployment validates the company’s battery technology in commercial applications. He noted that the company’s long-term objective has been to provide scalable, high-performance energy solutions that empower EV manufacturers to expand with confidence. The renewed and exclusive phase of collaboration with Rilox EV, he added, reflects a shared ambition to accelerate clean mobility adoption while delivering measurable environmental benefits.

Fleet operators depend heavily on uninterrupted vehicle performance, making battery reliability a central factor in operational success. Neuron’s lithium-ion systems are engineered to provide consistent power delivery, enhanced thermal management, and extended cycle life. These attributes contribute to reduced downtime and lower operating costs, while simultaneously improving overall fleet efficiency.

Beyond operational gains, the partnership supports India’s broader clean transportation goals by helping reduce emissions and improve total cost of ownership for commercial EV operators over the long term.

With Rilox EV expanding its presence across South India and other high-growth regions, he said deeper technological integration with Neuron’s battery ecosystem will help optimise lifecycle economics, boost fleet uptime, and enable innovation across upcoming commercial EV platforms.

Both companies are now formalising an exclusive long-term technology alliance aligned with Rilox EV’s expansion roadmap. Under this arrangement, Neuron Energy will transition from being primarily a battery supplier to serving as a fully integrated technology collaborator. The partnership will focus on advanced battery-vehicle integration, joint development of next-generation EV platforms, synchronised production planning based on demand cycles, intelligent energy management systems, and enhanced fleet performance analytics.
