Roofsol Energy Enters into PPAs for 2.95 MW Rooftop Solar Portfolio Across Four States

Feb 27, 2026

Solar EPC and independent power producer Roofsol Energy has executed three power purchase agreements (PPAs) to develop rooftop solar projects totalling 2.95 MW under the OPEX model. The installations will be spread across Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Punjab.

The largest of the agreements has been signed with Saibaba Polymer Technologies for a 1.5 MWp rooftop solar portfolio across facilities located in Haryana, Punjab, and Maharashtra. The project is expected to generate around 2.2 million units of renewable electricity annually, helping reduce carbon emissions by nearly 1,700 tonnes each year.

In a separate agreement, Roofsol Energy has partnered with Virgo Group to install a 1 MWp rooftop solar system at its manufacturing unit in Gollapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The plant is projected to produce approximately 1.5 million units of green power annually, offsetting close to 1,200 tonnes of CO? emissions.

The third PPA has been signed with EMotorad Electric Cycles for a 450 kWp rooftop solar installation at its Pune facility in Maharashtra. This project is estimated to generate about 0.7 million units of clean energy per year and reduce carbon emissions by roughly 550 tonnes annually.

Roofsol Energy operates as an EPC contractor and independent power producer, focusing on RESCO and group captive solar projects across India. Earlier this month, the company secured an EPC contract with Metro Decorative in Uttarakhand for a 3.2 MWp rooftop installation. It also recently signed a 5.5 MWp OPEX PPA with Lloyds Metals and Energy and a 2.55 MWp agreement with Ganesh Consumer Products across multiple states.

Additionally, the company has entered into a 25-year PPA with Nagarjuna Cement for 10.2 MWp of rooftop solar capacity and partnered with Motherson Group to deploy 12.8 MWp of rooftop and behind-the-meter solar systems across several manufacturing sites nationwide. In May 2025, Roofsol raised Rs 210 crore from Aseem Infrastructure Finance to support the development of 92.66 MWp of IPP and group captive solar assets across India.
