Jan 06, 2026

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has announced its entry into the electric three-wheeler segment, marking a strategic expansion of its clean mobility portfolio as it targets India’s rapidly growing micro-mobility market.

As part of this move, the company introduced SULTAN, a lithium-ion battery developed specifically for electric three-wheelers, along with Zest, a dedicated battery charger aimed at improving charging efficiency and maximizing vehicle uptime for OEMs, dealers, and distributors.

Focus on India’s Growing Micro-Mobility Segment

India’s electric three-wheeler market has emerged as one of the fastest-growing segments within the EV ecosystem, driven by urbanisation, increasing last-mile delivery demand, and supportive policy measures. Servotech stated that its entry reflects a focused strategy to leverage its experience in energy systems and power electronics to build a strong presence in micro-mobility.

Product Specifications and Features

The SULTAN lithium-ion battery is available in two variants—51.2V/105Ah and 64V/105Ah—and has been designed for applications including e-rickshaws, e-autos, and e-cargo vehicles. Built using lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, the battery offers a lighter form factor, enhanced safety, and improved payload capacity.

Complementing the battery offering, the Zest charger is a purpose-built solution designed to reduce charging time, enhance battery protection, and improve overall operational efficiency for electric three-wheeler fleets.

Management Commentary and Future Plans

Commenting on the development, Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., said the company’s move into electric three-wheelers represents a natural extension of its clean energy journey, building on its established presence in solar power and EV charging infrastructure.

He added that while Servotech has initially launched two three-wheeler battery models and one dedicated charger, the company plans to expand its product range with additional variants and models in the coming period to strengthen its market presence.

Highlighting the broader impact, Bhatia noted that the electric three-wheeler segment offers significant opportunities not only for sustainable mobility but also for empowering small transport entrepreneurs across India. The company’s long-term focus, he said, remains on innovation, scalability, and delivering reliable energy solutions to support India’s transition toward a greener future.

In addition to the mobility-focused launches, Servotech also introduced Voltie, a 2 kW on-grid solar inverter designed for residential and small commercial applications.
