SWELECT Unveils New Brand Identity and Introduces NUMERGY Energy Storage Solutions

SWELECT Energy Systems, earlier known as NUMERIC Power Systems, has revealed a refreshed corporate identity along with a new brand tagline, “Powering the World Responsibly.” As part of this transformation, the company has also launched NUMERGY, its new portfolio of battery energy storage systems and home energy solutions tailored for residential, SOHO, and commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.

Speaking on the brand refresh, R. Chellappan, Founder and Vice Chairman of SWELECT Energy Systems, said the new identity reflects both the company’s evolution and its future direction. He noted that while the business has transitioned from conventional power solutions under the Numeric brand to a strong focus on clean energy through SWELECT, its foundational principles of reliability, responsibility, and trust remain unchanged. According to him, the new tagline underscores the company’s belief that sustainable growth and environmental responsibility must progress together.

SWELECT stated that the updated logo and positioning represent its present-day focus on delivering responsible and sustainable energy solutions backed by strong engineering fundamentals. The rebranding signals the company’s intent to further strengthen its footprint across solar power, energy storage, and integrated energy systems for homes, businesses, and industries.

The company also highlighted its legacy connection to Numeric Power Systems, a brand long associated with dependability in India’s power electronics sector. Numeric’s decades-long track record, including a claimed 99.9999 percent reliability standard in UPS systems, continues to influence SWELECT’s engineering approach and customer-centric philosophy.

Aligned with this legacy, SWELECT has introduced the NUMERGY energy storage portfolio to meet the evolving power needs of households, small businesses, and large C&I consumers. The solutions are designed to scale seamlessly across use cases, from residential setups to enterprise-level installations.

Dr. Arulkumar Shanmugasundaram, CEO and Managing Director of SWELECT Energy Systems, said that battery energy storage systems will play a critical role in enabling resilient and reliable power as renewable energy penetration increases. He added that NUMERGY is aimed at supporting round-the-clock power availability, grid stability, and greater energy independence across multiple consumer segments.

The NUMERGY lineup includes three key offerings. NUMERGY HOME, with capacities ranging from 1 kW to 10 kW, provides integrated energy solutions for residential and SOHO users. NUMERGY HYBRID, spanning 5 kW to 20 kW, is designed for high-demand homes and small commercial installations requiring enhanced flexibility. NUMERGY HP, ranging from 3 kW to 50 kW, delivers high-performance battery energy storage systems for commercial and industrial customers with advanced grid integration needs.

According to the company, NUMERGY HOME and BESS solutions help optimise energy usage by storing surplus solar power generated during the day for later use, reducing dependence on the grid and improving overall efficiency. Advanced energy management systems enable intelligent power dispatch, allowing excess renewable energy to be stored and released during peak demand periods, thereby reducing curtailment and supporting better grid economics.

SWELECT added that integrated storage helps lower peak demand charges, improve lifecycle returns, and ensure uninterrupted power supply during grid outages or high-load conditions, ultimately strengthening project viability and energy resilience.
