EV charging infrastructure provider ThunderPlus has commissioned a new 60 kW fast charging station in Bachupally, Hyderabad, further strengthening its growing national footprint. The facility, developed under the company’s franchise model, transforms previously unused land into a commercially viable clean mobility hub.

The newly launched station is strategically located between Bachupally and Bowrampet and is designed to serve a wide range of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger cars, and light commercial vehicles. Equipped with a 60 kW fast charger, the site offers an accessible, app-free charging experience aimed at simplifying usage for daily commuters as well as fleet operators.

This facility has been set up in collaboration with Manoj, an IT professional who has become the eighth franchise partner within the ThunderPlus network. By repurposing vacant land, he has converted an idle asset into a sustainable and revenue-generating EV charging station.

Rajeev YSR, Executive Director and CEO of ThunderPlus, highlighted the broader vision behind the initiative. He noted that while land availability is not a major constraint in India, optimizing infrastructure use remains a challenge. Through its franchise-driven expansion strategy and a network of over 250 active charging stations nationwide, the company aims to empower landowners and entrepreneurs to actively participate in India’s electric mobility transition.

Echoing this sentiment, franchise partner Manoj stated that the collaboration provided him with the technology, operational support, and business framework required to establish a future-ready charging facility. He described the venture as both commercially rewarding and aligned with the country’s sustainable mobility goals.

The Bachupally site marks ThunderPlus’ eighth EV charging franchise in India. As part of its aggressive growth roadmap, the company plans to roll out 100 additional franchise-based charging stations over the next six months. This expansion is expected to boost clean transportation adoption, generate local employment, and create scalable business opportunities across multiple regions.

With this latest addition, ThunderPlus continues to advance its mission of building reliable and accessible EV charging infrastructure across the country.
