ADM Solar Delivers 200 MW of High-Efficiency Bifacial Modules for Large Solar Projects in Gujarat and Maharashtra

Dec 30, 2025

ADM Solar Power has completed the supply of 200 MW of solar photovoltaic modules for ground-mounted, utility-scale solar projects located across Gujarat and Maharashtra, reinforcing the continued deployment of advanced module technology in India’s large renewable energy installations.

The shipment comprises 550 Wp mono PERC bifacial PV modules, specifically designed for high-performance utility applications. Of the total capacity supplied, 120 MW has been delivered to project sites in Gujarat, while the remaining 80 MW has been dispatched to Maharashtra. The modules are being installed as part of a large solar project developed for one of the company’s clients.

According to ADM Solar Power, the supplied modules offer efficiency levels of up to 21.5%. Their bifacial design enables electricity generation from both the front and rear surfaces of the panels, allowing developers to achieve higher energy output in ground-mounted systems where surface reflectivity enhances rear-side performance.

Bifacial module adoption has been gaining momentum in major solar parks across western India, particularly in Gujarat and Maharashtra, as project developers look to improve plant productivity while lowering the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE).

The latest delivery highlights the ongoing shift toward higher-capacity and higher-efficiency solar technologies across India. As the country accelerates the rollout of large-scale solar assets to meet rising electricity demand and national renewable energy targets, western states continue to play a pivotal role, supported by favorable solar resources, available land, and robust transmission infrastructure.
