Advait Energy has won a turnkey power distribution contract valued at nearly Rs100 crore from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) under the Kishan Suryodaya Yojana (KSY) scheme, according to a regulatory disclosure.
As part of the project, Advait Energy will be responsible for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 kV, 55 sq mm AAAC Medium Voltage Covered Conductors (MVCC) along with all associated accessories across DGVCL’s service area. The initiative is aimed at strengthening power distribution infrastructure while supporting rural and agricultural electrification efforts in Gujarat.
DGVCL, a state-owned power distribution utility, has set an execution timeline of 18 months for the project. The total contract value stands at Rs99.99 crore, inclusive of applicable taxes, the company said in its filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Advait Energy also clarified that the contract does not involve any related-party transactions. The company confirmed that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in DGVCL, and that the order was awarded on an arm’s-length basis in compliance with SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
