AMPIN Energy and Jupiter International Commission Solar Manufacturing JV in Bhubaneswar

AMPIN Energy Transition and Jupiter International have jointly launched their solar manufacturing venture, AMPIN Solar One, in Bhubaneswar, marking a significant step toward strengthening India’s domestic clean energy ecosystem.

The facility was inaugurated on April 8 by Mohan Charan Majhi, highlighting the state’s push to boost local manufacturing capabilities and support the country’s renewable energy goals.

AMPIN Solar One is designed to develop integrated solar cell and module manufacturing capabilities, aiming to enhance the availability of high-performance solar components within India. The initiative brings together manufacturing expertise and project execution strengths from both partner companies.

Industry leaders noted that the venture is expected to play a key role in building a robust domestic supply chain, reducing dependence on imports, and supporting the rapid scale-up of solar deployment across the country.

With this joint platform, the partners aim to contribute to India’s clean energy transition by ensuring reliable, high-quality solar manufacturing infrastructure aligned with future energy demands.
