Australian Premium Solar Commences Commercial Production at 400 MW TOPCon Module Facility in Gujarat
Nov 06, 2025
Australian Premium Solar (India) Ltd. (APS) has started commercial production at its new 400 MW TOPCon solar module manufacturing facility in Sabarkantha, Gujarat, marking a major milestone in its expansion roadmap.
With this addition, APS’s total solar module manufacturing capacity now stands at 800 MW, reinforcing its position among India’s leading integrated solar manufacturers. The new line features advanced, high-efficiency machinery designed to produce next-generation TOPCon modules for both domestic and international markets.
“The launch of our 400 MW TOPCon line marks a defining moment in APS’s growth journey,” said Nikunjkumar Chimanlal Patel, Chairman and Executive Director of APS. “It highlights our commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative and strengthens our ability to deliver world-class, high-performance solar modules at scale.”
The new facility represents the first phase of APS’s broader capacity expansion plan, with another 400 MW line expected to become operational by April 2026. This will enable the company to meet rising demand for high-efficiency solar modules across both utility-scale and distributed solar projects, while supporting India’s clean energy transition.
