GameChange Solar to Expand India Manufacturing with New 13 GW Facility
Nov 24, 2025
US-based GameChange Solar is set to build a second manufacturing plant in India as part of its plan to double its revenues from the country in the coming years. With 7 GW of installed capacity already in place, the new facility will raise its total domestic manufacturing capacity to 13 GW.
Sources say the company is likely to invest an amount similar to the Rs 1,200 crore spent on its first plant in Taloja near Pune, though official financial details have not been disclosed. GameChange’s revenues from India have reportedly crossed Rs 12,500 crore in FY25, supported by strong demand from large corporate clients.
The new plant will feature advanced manufacturing technologies, stringent testing systems, and streamlined processes to meet global standards. GameChange Solar and its subsidiary GameChange BOS supply solar trackers, transformers, and Balance of System solutions to utilities, C&I customers, BESS developers, and data centres.
CEO Andrew Worden said the company is optimistic about India’s rapidly growing energy market and aims to use its Indian facilities to supply both domestic and international customers. With India’s power demand expected to nearly triple by 2035, GameChange’s weather-resilient tracker technology continues to play a key role in boosting project efficiency across the country.
