Gautam Solar Enters Global Top 30 in Wood Mackenzie’s 2025 Solar Module Rankings

Indian solar module manufacturer Gautam Solar has secured a position among the Top 30 solar module producers globally in Wood Mackenzie’s Solar Module Ranking Report 2025, earning the prestigious ‘Grade A’ classification for bankability.

The recognition places Gautam Solar alongside some of the world’s leading solar manufacturers—many of them global majors—highlighting the company’s growing stature in the international solar industry and strengthening India’s presence in the global solar manufacturing landscape.

Commenting on the achievement, Gautam Mohanka, Director of Gautam Solar, said the ranking underscores the company’s consistent focus on product quality, technological advancement, and long-term reliability. He noted that the milestone demonstrates the ability of Indian manufacturers to compete effectively with established global players.

Mohanka added that the recognition brings with it a sense of responsibility as well as motivation to scale manufacturing capacity, deepen innovation, and contribute more significantly to the global clean energy transition.

Over the years, Gautam Solar has made sustained investments across its manufacturing value chain, including the development of advanced production infrastructure, implementation of stringent quality-control systems, and adoption of high-efficiency module technologies. As part of its long-term expansion plans, the company is also preparing to commission a solar cell manufacturing facility in 2026, further strengthening its integrated manufacturing capabilities.
