Inox Clean Energy and RJ Corp Form JV to Develop 570 MW Renewable Portfolio in Africa
Feb 14, 2026
Inox Clean Energy has announced a joint venture with RJ Corp to expand into African renewable energy markets, marking a significant step in its international growth strategy. The partnership has acquired Skypower Services MENA Ltd and plans to commission approximately 570 MW of renewable energy capacity in the first phase of development.
The projects form part of a broader multi-gigawatt pipeline under the acquisition and are backed by sovereign-supported power purchase agreements (PPAs). According to the company, this structure substantially mitigates payment and counterparty risks, with projected internal rates of return (IRRs) exceeding 20%.
Inox Clean Energy, part of the INOXGFL Group and positioned as an integrated renewable energy platform, is partnering with RJ Corp, a diversified multinational group with business interests spanning food and beverage, quick-service restaurants, dairy, retail, and healthcare. The joint venture signals both companies’ intent to tap into Africa’s growing demand for clean energy and strengthen their presence in emerging global markets.
