Jupiter Commissions 1 GW Mono PERC Facility, Doubling Solar Cell Capacity to 2 GW

Company advances integrated solar cell and module plant in Odisha with planned 4 GW cell and 2.8 GW module capacity
Jupiter International has commissioned a 1 GW Monocrystalline Passivated Emitter Rear-Cell (Mono PERC) solar cell manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The new unit marks the company’s third solar cell manufacturing facility.
The company already operates a 1 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Baddi. With the addition of the new 1 GW Mono PERC line, Jupiter’s total installed solar cell manufacturing capacity has increased to 2 GW.
The facility has been developed by Jupiter Solartech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jupiter International.
Separately, Jupiter is in advanced stages of establishing an integrated solar cell and solar module manufacturing facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Upon commissioning, the Odisha facilities are expected to have a cumulative production capacity of 4 GW for solar cells and 2.8 GW for solar modules.
