Kiri Industries Awards LoI for 17.45 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Project in Gujarat

Feb 02, 2026

Kiri Industries, a Gujarat-based chemicals manufacturer, has issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) to IB Vogt Solar India and Four-Square Green Energy for the development of a 17.45 MW hybrid renewable energy project in the state.

The proposed installation will be located at Kamlapur in Rajkot district and will combine 9.45 MW of wind capacity with 8 MW of solar power. According to the company’s regulatory disclosure, the total investment for the project is estimated at Rs100.80 crore.

Kiri Industries stated that the project is targeted for completion within 10 months from the date of LoI issuance.

Once commissioned, the electricity generated will be used primarily to meet the energy requirements of the company’s existing manufacturing units, helping optimise power costs. The company added that the project will also support a greater share of renewable energy consumption, lower its carbon emissions, and strengthen its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) credentials.
