LRE and Google Partner to Launch Over 700 MW of Solar Projects in Oklahoma

Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) has partnered with Google to launch over 700 MW of renewable energy projects in Oklahoma, including the 372 MW Mayes County Solar Portfolio and the 352.5 MW Twelvemile Solar Projects. These initiatives will power Google’s data centers, enhance Oklahoma's grid reliability, and contribute to U.S. energy independence.

“These projects strengthen our partnership with Google and bring direct benefits to the local community, from job creation to clean energy advancements,”

said Eran Mahrer, Chief Commercial Officer at LRE.

The projects will avoid 3.7 million metric tons of CO? emissions. This partnership advances Google’s 2030 carbon-free energy goal while fostering sustainable energy solutions and local economic growth.
