Oriano Commissions 211.2 MWac / 295 MWp Captive Solar Project for ArcelorMittal in Andhra Pradesh
Jan 04, 2025
The project is linked to a pooling substation (PSS) via 8 km of 33kV double circuit AL-59 conductor transmission lines.
The project involved extensive land grading and the removal of rocky boulders, requiring the use of over 40 heavy machines for nearly five months alongside construction activities.
Despite the challenging terrain, Oriano achieved daily piling progress exceeding 5 MWp using more than 14 high-pressure borewell DTH machines operating simultaneously.
This solar PV project is part of a larger renewable energy development totaling 925 MWp of solar power and 314 MW of wind energy, connected to the CTU at 400 kV.
Oriano was entrusted with the construction of 295 MWp solar capacity and operation and maintenance (O&M) for 354 MWp. This achievement reflects Oriano’s expertise in executing large-scale renewable energy projects and our continued commitment to advancing India’s sustainable energy goals.
