Premier Energies Adds 400 MW Mono PERC Solar Cell Capacity at Telangana Facility

Premier Energies Ltd. has brought online a new 400 MW Mono PERC solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing line at its E-City facility in Maheshwaram, Telangana, marking an important expansion of its production capabilities.

The newly commissioned unit has been developed through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Ltd., and represents a brownfield expansion of its existing cell manufacturing operations. The project was implemented by installing additional manufacturing equipment while utilising the site’s current infrastructure and utility systems.

With the latest capacity addition now operational, Premier Energies’ total active solar cell manufacturing capacity has reached 3.6 GW. The expansion further reinforces the company’s presence in India’s rapidly expanding domestic solar manufacturing sector.
