Shakti Pumps Hosts Dealer Meet in Kanpur to Promote Solar Irrigation Adoption
Mar 10, 2026
Shakti Pumps India Limited recently organized a large dealer meet in Kanpur, bringing together more than 200 dealers and business partners. The event aimed to expand the adoption of solar-powered irrigation systems, strengthen the company’s distribution network, and promote energy-efficient pumping solutions across Uttar Pradesh.
During the event, P.C. Jain and Sons was announced as an authorized channel partner for the region. A Bhoomi Pujan ceremony was also held for the upcoming showroom. According to the company, this partnership will help improve supply chain efficiency, spare parts availability, and faster service support for customers in Kanpur and nearby areas.
The dealer meet included a product exhibition showcasing solar water pumps, submersible pumps, piping systems, drip irrigation solutions, EV motors and controllers, and solar rooftop products. Dealers received detailed briefings on the technical specifications, energy-saving capabilities, and cost benefits of these products for farmers and agricultural users.
As Uttar Pradesh continues to emerge as an important market for solar irrigation under central and state renewable energy initiatives, Shakti Pumps is focusing on expanding its dealer network and strengthening last-mile connectivity with farmers across the region.
Speaking at the event, Dinesh Patidar emphasized the importance of dealer partnerships, stating that the company views its dealers as long-term partners rather than just distribution channels. He highlighted that the company aims to build trust, strong relationships, and reliable customer service alongside product sales.
Ramesh Patidar noted the increasing demand for solar-powered irrigation systems and stressed the need for a robust distribution and service network to support the growing market. He added that the company is working toward energy self-reliance in rural and semi-urban areas through clean energy solutions.
Meanwhile, Ankit Patidar said the company aims to empower farmers nationwide with solar pumping technologies, while continuing to invest in innovation, new technologies, and dealer network expansion.
At the event, company executives also highlighted the economic advantages of solar irrigation, including reduced dependence on diesel and lower operational costs for farmers. Technical sessions were conducted by company officials, including a presentation by Rajesh Hingorani, Deputy General Manager at Shakti Pumps, explaining product features and emerging market opportunities.
With over 40 years of industry experience, Shakti Pumps has established a presence in more than 125 countries and has completed over 250,000 solar pump installations worldwide, reinforcing its position in the global solar pumping market.
