Trinasolar Unveils Elementa 2 Pro and Elementa 3 Energy Storage Systems at Energy Storage Summit India 2025
Nov 04, 2025
Trinasolar showcased its next-generation Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) — the Elementa 2 Pro and Elementa 3 — at the Energy Storage Summit India 2025, held from October 31 to November 1. The launch underscores the company’s commitment to driving India’s renewable energy transition through advanced and scalable storage technologies.
The Elementa 3 system features 587Ah liquid-cooled cells and offers a 6.25 MWh capacity, achieving a 12.5% lower Levelised Cost of Storage (LCOS) than its predecessors. With superior energy density, enhanced safety, and improved reliability, it sets a new benchmark for large-scale storage performance.
Designed for long-duration projects, the Elementa 2 Pro delivers a 5 MWh capacity and supports up to 12,000 cell cycles. Equipped with EV-grade cells, triple-layer safety mechanisms, and advanced monitoring, it can enhance system efficiency by up to 90%. Its hybrid and advanced refrigerant cooling systems ensure optimal operation across extreme conditions — from –30°C to 55°C — making it ideally suited for India’s diverse climate.
“India has become one of the most dynamic renewable energy markets globally. With the Elementa 2 Pro and Elementa 3 solutions, we aim to boost grid resilience, accelerate renewable adoption, and empower communities with energy independence,” — Dr. Leo Zhao, Head of Energy Storage, Trinasolar Asia Pacific.
He added that the Elementa series is engineered for high performance and rapid deployment, providing customers with the confidence and flexibility needed to meet evolving energy demands.
