Waaree Energies Secures 350 MW Solar Module Order from AMPIN Energy Transition
Nov 29, 2025
Waaree Energies Ltd has received a 350 MW order for its G12R TOPCon solar modules from AMPIN Energy Transition, marking a renewed collaboration between the two companies. The order follows AMPIN’s earlier procurement of 210 MW in October 2025, highlighting the developer’s continued trust in Waaree’s manufacturing strength and technological expertise.
As part of this agreement, Waaree will deliver high-efficiency G12R TOPCon modules for AMPIN’s upcoming solar projects across India, with the full supply expected to be completed by March 2026. These modules will support AMPIN’s growing renewable energy portfolio and its mission to scale clean power deployment nationwide.
Pinaki Bhattacharyya, Founder, MD & CEO of AMPIN Energy Transition, said the partnership aligns with the company’s focus on advanced, high-performance solar solutions. He emphasized that Waaree’s G12R modules meet AMPIN’s stringent quality requirements and support its long-term sustainability goals.
Sunil Rathi, Executive Director at Waaree Energies, noted that the 350 MW order reflects the rising demand for domestically built, next-generation solar technologies. He added that the G12R TOPCon modules deliver higher energy output, better low-light performance, and long-term durability, making them suitable for both large-scale and C&I installations.
Waaree’s G12R modules are engineered for enhanced bifaciality, improved energy density, and optimized LCOE, ensuring consistent performance across varied climatic conditions.
Once operational, the project is expected to offset approximately 407,000 tonnes of CO? emissions annually, as per the CEA Baseline Database v20.0 (Dec 2024), supporting India’s progress toward its 500 GW renewable energy target.
