Yuma Energy Surpasses 50 Million Battery Swaps, Accelerating India’s BaaS Expansion

Yuma Energy has achieved a major milestone by completing over 50 million battery swaps since February 2023, reinforcing its position as one of the fastest-growing battery-as-a-service (BaaS) providers in India. Notably, half of these swaps—around 25 million—were recorded in just the past 15 months, underscoring the company’s rapid scale-up.

The company attributes this growth to increasing dependence from fleet operators and delivery partners on its reliable and always-available energy network. Designed to minimize downtime, Yuma’s infrastructure enables electric vehicles to stay operational with quick battery replacements, supporting high-frequency usage.

Yuma maintains a network uptime of 99.9%, ensuring uninterrupted access to energy for users. Its battery swapping process, which takes only a few minutes, significantly reduces idle time and improves overall vehicle productivity. This efficiency has made it a preferred choice among OEMs, fleet operators, and public-sector partners.
